Driving lessons and tests suspended in Northern Ireland

Tests from 17 October to 13 November inclusive cancelled.

All practical driving tests in Northern Ireland scheduled between 17 October and 13 November 2020 inclusive have been cancelled. ADIs have also been told to stop offering lessons.

These new restrictions are being put in place to help reduce the spread of coronavirus and to help manage the pressures on the Northern Irish health and social care system.

Customers with driving tests booked to take place during this period need take no action.

Key workers may be within this group and will be given priority appointments when available. DVA will contact these customers directly.

The DVA will issue refunds back to the payment card as quickly as possible and will contact customers directly to advise them how they can reschedule their appointments.

The booking service is now closed and no further driving tests can be booked either online or via the telephone booking line, until further notice.
