The regulator recently released a number of communications on the subject of the new approach to prioritising Standards Checks. A blog, video presentation and a letter from the Registrar has been sent to trainers across the UK.
DIA (and colleagues within NASP) have been urging the agency to issue more guidance – and better communications overall – on the changes for several weeks now, given the concern and confusion caused by initial announcements.
The latest guidance walks ADIs through how driving test data is being used to develop more insightful performance data on each individual trainer and how this helps DVSA prioritise Standards Checks.
