Have your say on proposed Highway Code changes

The DfT has launched a consultation on The Highway Code which focuses on improving road safety for cyclists, pedestrians and horse riders.

This follows the launch of the prime minister’s ‘£2bn cycling and walking revolution’.

This set out the actions required at all levels of government to make cycling and walking a reality, grouped under four themes:

  • Better streets for cycling and people
  • Cycling and walking at the heart of decision-making
  • Empowering and encouraging local authorities
  • Enabling people to cycle and protecting them when they do

The Dft would like to hear your views. Click here to find out the full details on the consultation and have your say.

The consultation description is how I teach my pupils anyway. It’s good to be reminded though.
