Local restrictions in Bolton, Renfrewshire & East Dunbartonshire

Local restrictions will not affect DVSA services in England or Scotland.

The English and Scottish governments respectively have announced that additional local restrictions will be introduced in Bolton, Renfrewshire and East Dunbartonshire to limit the spread of coronavirus.

Read the government guidance on the restrictions that have been put in place in Bolton.

Read the Scottish government guidance on the restrictions that have been put in place in Renfrewshire and East Dunbartonshire.

Currently the local restrictions in Bolton do not affect driving test services which have already restarted. The local restrictions in Renfrewshire and East Dunbartonshire do not affect DVSA services or the planned introduction of future ones.

This means DVSA can continue to provide those services as normal. The agency will keep the situation under review and let you know if anything changes.
