RED launches webinar series to help nervous learners

The webinars cover a selection of topics including driving anxiety, final preparation and tips for driving test success.

RED Driving School has launched a webinar series on How To Beat Driving Test Day Nerves

The course is made up of three 90-minute modules and limited to 15 attendees.

RED understands that test day nerves can make the most competent learner make mistakes during the high-pressure driving test. The webinar series is designed to support all learners who want to understand how to better manage their nerves when being tested.

The three modules cover a selection of topics including coping with driving anxiety, the impact of nutrition and hydration as well as final preparation and tips for driving test success.

Each live module is recorded and once completed, course attendees will receive a link to rewatch the webinars.

The series is initially launching as a pilot and will cost £47.95. Any learner can book onto the course from 30 June.

Ian McIntosh, CEO of RED Driving School, says: “At RED, we’re thrilled to give learner drivers a confidence boost before their test. It can be a nerve-racking experience for many, with anxieties affecting even the most competent drivers. In some extreme cases, learners’ nerves can cost them their test pass.

“This tried and tested webinar format, with its interactive workbook, is a comprehensive way to tackle a range of driving anxieties, as well as helping to educate on the influence of physical and mental wellbeing on  stress levels.

“There is a lot of pressure on learners to pass first time. They are often excited by the prospect of enjoying the many freedoms that come with driving. The huge demand for driving tests caused by COVID has created another layer of stress for learners who may have to wait months for another if they fail.”
