Driving tests in Scotland will restart on 6 May.
Lateral flow tests are not compulsory for ADIs or students for the driving test or lessons but DVSA strongly encourages taking them to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Theory tests are also due to resume today (12 April) in England and Wales.
Driving lessons can restart in England and Wales on Monday 12 April and in Scotland on 26 April.
The proposed restart date for driving lessons and theory tests in England is 12 April and for practical tests is 22 April.

DVSA is still working with the Scottish government to agree a restart date for theory and practical driving tests.
Driving tests will restart in Wales on 22 April, as long as the public health position remains favourable.
