Updated: Wales to remain under level 4 restrictions until at least 12 March

Driving lessons must not take place in alert level 4. Car driving tests are also suspended.

The Welsh Government has announced that alert level 4 coronavirus restrictions in Wales will remain in place until at least the next formal review on 12 March 2021.

Driving lessons must not take place in alert level 4. Car driving tests are also suspended in alert level 4. This includes ADI part 2 and 3 tests and standards checks.

Driving lessons for pupils with a confirmed mobile emergency worker test booking can continue.

You must not travel out of an alert level 4 area to give driving lessons.

Private practice is only permitted with someone in your household or support bubble during an essential journey.

All car driving and theory tests are suspended in Wales while the restrictions are in place. This includes ADI part 2 and 3 tests and standards checks.

DVSA will email candidates affected by this to let them know test will be rescheduled.

If the new time and date is not suitable for you or your pupil, you can choose a different time and date on GOV.UK. You will need your pupil’s driving licence number to do this. Your pupil does not need to pay again to do this.

Let’s hope everyone strikes to the rules,I know we have been on lockdown for a long time but if we don’t stick to the rules lockdown will last a lot longer.
